In about 45 minutes I'll be heading up to Boston to go to see a local burlesque performer do a comedy routine... in the nude.

I'm looking forward to the show!  Gonna meet my buddy there.  I envy her courage.  I can barely talk to strangers at this point... nevermind take my clothes off in front of them.  ^_^  I have a number of heroes in my everyday life and I think Ms. Duvet is soon to be added to the list.  She has a strength that I could only dream of.

I encourage anyone out there who is bored tonight (bored in Boston?  come on....) to come out!

So I'm back.  I think.  Life has been pretty rough for the past few months.  But I guess that happens.

I have officially brought back all my old posts concerning atheism, feminism, politics, and whatnot for those of you who are interested.  I had hidden them away because I was looking for a new job in some kind of government position but that plan has dissipated (surprise!) so I figure it's safe for my opinions to be known to the world again.  Not that I'm preaching hatred and murder.. but you never know what hardships your written word can bring.

I've been trying to keep myself overly stimulated with various projects now that I am a single gal.  I'm not quite sure if it's working but I have a lot to choose from between my bar nights (Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays), my websites, my video-gaming, my reading, my jewelry-making, my shopping, my traveling, my kitty-cat.... I think I am keeping fairly distracted.  I may be adding blogging back to my list of distractions so that on late nights like this I can find something better to do than sleep.
